As if set in a glittering amber jewel, this honey bee is waiting for you to give it your your own personality. In this video lesson, you will:
Part 1- transfer your “string” or contour drawing using the provided template onto a 7.5x7.5 -inch 140-lb. hot press watercolor paper or comparable multi-media paper. After we “tangle” the image, one step at a time, (add the patterns) we will shade our inked drawing with graphite pencil and glaze it with water. 
 
Part 2- use watercolor pencils to color over this “underpainting,” layering until we reach the rich saturation pictured here. Finally, we will “add some love” by cleaning up lines, adding highlights and some glitz with gold and pearlescent paints. Please download the files provided upon purchase within 30 days, at which time the link will expire.
